Olamide new single titled "Wavy Level

Nigerian hitmaker and rapper, Olamide has just released a new single titled "Wavy Level" and it's keeping in line with what sounds like a new approach that the Baddohsneh is taking with his music. The rapper has added a lot of musicality to his raps in the last few months and this next "wave" (excuse the pun) of Olamide music looks like it's right along these lines.

Olamide has the brand to keep himself at a high standard but iff you're looking for a potential chart-topper, we don't think "Wavy Level" is that track.

But then again, maybe it's not about that for him. Maybe he just wants fans like you to give it a good listen and enjoy the music.

While we're here for new sounds and experiments, the bottom line is that we need to be able to identify whether the track has the potential to be a hit single on the radio. This coming at a time when, despite rapper's best efforts, Nigeria's biggest musicians are those in Afropop, afrobeats, traditional and dancehall genres.
